DCE attends PTA meeting

Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sekyere Central has explained the Government's directive on promotion and repetition of pupils in Government schools.

The DCE in his address at a Parent Teachers Association (PTA) meeting at Bonkrong D/A primary however, noted that parents are bestowed with the ultimate power to decide whether or not their wards should be promoted to the next level.

Officials from the District Education Directorate also spoke about the strategies to strengthen the School’s Management.

Other factors which are seemingly affecting enrollment, teaching and learning in the School were also discussed.

The Assemblyman of Bonkrong Electoral area, on his part charged the parents to have the well being of their wards at heart and take every step to assist the school in diverse ways.
