SEKYERE C: DCE presents 150 dual desks to Education Directorate

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Kodua has presented an additional 150 dual desks to the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to some 10 selected schools in the District.

This comes after some 500 desks were presented some few weeks ago to equip schools with adequate infrastructure and logistics in order to complement the government's efforts in making education accessible to all.

In his address the DCE emphasized the commitment of the Assembly in resolving the issue of desk deficits and the overall improvement of the educational sector in the District.

The District Director of Education, Mr. Kwame Addo expressed his gratitude to the Assembly for its commitment in addressing the challenges confronting the educational sector in the District while expressing hope in the continuous efforts of the Assembly to address other outstanding issues confronting the sector.

The beneficiary schools include Birem Pentecost Primary, Dagomba Didaso D/A, Abaasua D/A, Oku R/C primary, Nsuta St. Joseph's Anglican Primary, Bimma Methodist Primary, Kyebi Presby Primary, Nsuta St. Peters, Nsuta R/C Primary and Owuobuoho Primary schools.
