DCE hands over dual desks to education directorate

The DCE at the handing over ceremony said the government's commitment to the continuous improvement and delivery of quality education in the country, which has seen some significant improvement in the provision of educational infrastructure in the District in the past few years.
He stated that it was his hope to see a drastic decline in the desk deficit in schools in the District in the shortest possible time.
The District Director of Education, Mr. Kwame Addo in his speech expressed his profound gratitude to the Assembly for its utmost support towards the improvement of educational standards in the District.
He indicated that though the deficit of desks in schools in the District was huge, there has been a significant improvement through the tremendous assistance of the Assembly and the Member of Parliament.
He thanked the Assembly and expressed hope in the delivery of the next batch of desks soon for onward distribution to schools within the District.
The beneficiary schools include Kwamang Presby JHS, Abonkosu D/A Primary, Oku R/C, Birem R/C JHS, Adutwam D/A, Jetiase D/A, Bonkrong D/A, Nsuta D/A Primary, Jeduako Methodist Primary and Atonsu D/A Primary.
