Azumah Bridge to Be Completed Soon

Hon. Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, has tasked the contractor on the Azumah bridge project to complete the project ahead of schedule.

The MCE, on a routine tour of project sites on Friday, 14th May 2021, went to the site where workers were busy casting concrete on the culverts that had been laid.

The Azumah Bridge project, an initiative of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency, Hon. Tina Gifty Mensah, is being constructed by the Department of Feeder Roads with support from the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.

The bridge, which has been a source of worry to commuters in the area, will on completion open up the community to more commercial activities.
