Nkrankwanta township roads set for massive facelift

The district Chief Executive of Dormaa West District Assembly in the Bono Region, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong has assured the constituents of a smoothly accessible road in the Nkrankwanta Township.

He stated that the Assembly and the Bono Regional Highways Authority are working seriously to ensure the improvement of the road infrastructure networks within the district to boost socio-economic development and growth of the district.

According to him, plans were exhibited in his outfit to instruct the contractor to patch the numerous potholes in the township to make the road smoothly accessible to commuters in the area.

Mr. Oppong added that he has also instructed the contractor to remove the access culvert that leads to the O. A Bus station and replace it with a normal drain with thick slab.

Mr. Oppong Francis made this known in the interview with Ghanadistricts.com.

The DCE together with the Bono Regional Highways Director including some Assembly officials inspected the ongoing construction of Nkrankwanta township roads.

Mr. Francis Oppong assured the constituents of the provision of their basic social and infrastructural amenities.

He added that innovative measures have been put in place to fix deplorable roads that connect the communities in the districts to the district's capital.
