Mpohor Assembly builds DCEs bungalow

The Mpohor District Assembly in the Western Region says it remains hopeful of completing an ongoing residential apartment for the District Chief Executive (DCE) by June this year.

The ultra-modern project, which is about 95 percent complete, is expected to help eliminate the situation whereby political appointees of the area have to travel long distances to seek quality accommodation in nearby communities.

This was disclosed when the District Chief Executive of the area, Ignatius Asaah Mensah and reporters of this website toured some ongoing projects in the district.

Speaking at the site, the DCE , who expressed satisfaction at actual work done on the facility said, the Assembly was still working hand in hand with the contractor to ensure that all due diligence is done before official handing over.

He also seized the opportunity to thank the contractor for working tirelessly to ensure that the project is completed ahead of schedule.
