Assembly build KG block for Halaemboi community

A sod-cutting ceremony has been performed for the construction of a kindergarten block for the people of Halaemboi in the Wa East District in the Upper West Region.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Jotie Moses said the project was part of the community Initiative Programme to construct two kindergartens in each community.

Projects were designed to benefit the people and also open up job opportunities in the area.

The District Chief Executive, Mr. Jotie told Ghanadistricts.com that, the school block would consist of classrooms, an office, resting room, storeroom, kitchen and lavatory to accommodate the crèche, KG ‘1’ and ‘2’ as well as a playground.

The chief, the people and the headmaster of the school were thankful to the DCE and the entire Assembly, saying the project when completed would boost the morale of the children in learning.

Mr. Jotie Moses said, “I have started encouraging some of the youth to take up the challenge and build their work experience and make some money for their family upkeep.

The project when completed will solve the problems of early childhood development in the area.
