Assembly constructs 6-unit classroom for Loggu-Sagu

The Wa East District Assembly has handed over a six-unit classroom block to the people of Loggu-Sagu help enhance teaching and learning in the area.

The new building is expected to provide relief and serene atmosphere for teaching and learning for the pupils who prior to the completion of the project were learning under make-shift structure.

The project, he stated was funded through the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF).

Touching on other related developments, the DCE further highlighted on some key intervention projects that have been completed by the assembly as part of efforts to help improve standards of living of the people.


Among some of these key interventions he said, include the construction of a Community-based Health Planning Service (CHPs) compounds at some communities in the district.

According to the DCE, the two projects were at various stages of completion, adding that the projects when completed will provide quality healthcare delivery for residents of the communities and other neighbouring towns.

The district chief executive assured them of government continuous support and encourages them to take advantage of the government flagship program of planting for food and jobs in this coming season.

The chiefs and people in the community expressed their excitement and hailed the NPP for recognizing them in their government.


He was accompanied by some staff of the district assembly, some constituency executives and party supporters
