MCE celebrates Eid with Muslims in Tarkwa-Nsuaem
On Saturday, 22nd April 2023, Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive joined Muslims brothers and sisters in the municipality to celebrate Eid al- fitr at the Anglican School Park, behind their central mosque.

In his message, he admonished Ghanaians to live in unity and harmony as the country can only achieve its aim of becoming great and strong through unity and asked the religious bodies to also come together.
"We should not be divided because of politics and tribe, let's live together as one big family to achieve a better Ghana". He added.
Ramadan, which is the ninth month on the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims through 30 days of fasting and prayer with the belief that is the period Allah revealed the holy Quran to Prophet Mohammed.
The Imam of the area, prayed for Allah guidance and support to the Chief Executive and the traditional leaders who steered the affairs of enhancing social and economic growth of the Municipality not forgetting the officials of the state especially to President Akufo-Addo for maintaining peace and development in the country of Ghana at large.
