In a welcome address, the District Coordinating Director Mr. Frederick Akitty urged staff not to shirk their sense of duty and commitment to work.
He cautioned them that the attitude and importance they attach to work should reflect in their appraisal documents, adding that he was not going to endorse any appraisal that does not portray their attitude to work ethics.
On his part, the District Chief Executive Daniel Teye Akuffo thanked all staff for their support throughout his three years of administration.
He added his voice for staff to avoid habitual lateness except for rare situations.
Hon. Akuffo said an electronic device for clocking in attendance of workers would soon be introduced which will bring to bear the true attendance of workers.
He encouraged all departments connected to revenue generation to boost efforts at enhancing revenue generation for the assembly through innovative ways.
The human resources manager Ms. Wendy Wiredu seized the opportunity to sensitize staff on the various leave modules at the disposal of staff and mode of application.
She further shared information on other work-related issues with staff.
An opportunity was given to staff to air their grievances some of which were duly addressed by the Chief Servant and Coordinating Director.
