Adansi North: Assembly prepares BECE candidates for examination
Creation of responsible citizens begins from what pupil are made to go through in the basic schools, and for that matter the Adansi North District Assembly has taken it upon itself to sponsor the Education Directorate to help the 2018 Basic Education Certificate Exams (BECE) candidates how to answer questions.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Eric Kwaku Kusi indicated that some of the candidates fail not because they do not know the answer to the questions, rather they have difficulty in how to answer the questions properly.
He said some selected teachers from across the district have started taking the pupils through effective way of answering questions, adding that mock exams will be conducted for the candidates after the programme.
He said that the programme is being held at Fomena Methodist Church and Dompoase Methodist Church adding that the district has about 98 basic schools which have been divided into 11 circuits.
The DCE used the opportunity to thank the teachers and the Education Directorate for the support, and also advised the candidates to learn very well to enable them do well in the upcoming BECE for a brighter future.
In attendance were, Mr. Paul Antwi Oppong, district director of Education, Mr. Opare Annor Daniel headteacher Kusa D/A JHS, Mr David Anancy headteacher Dompoase Methodist Basic School, Mrs Sabina Frimpong headteacher Fomena Methodist Primary school, including the circuit supervisors of Fomena and Dompoase Circuits.
