DCE inspires BECE candidates ahead of examination

The Adansi North District Chief Executive, (DCE) Hon. Kusi Kwaku Eric, together with the District Co-ordinating Director and the District Education Director has visited Basic Education Examination (BECE) Centres in the District to motivate B.E.C.E candidates and ensure that they are comfortable enough to write the examinations.

The District Chief Executive beseeched the candidates to hold a positive attitude bearing in mind that, the BECE is just like the regular exams they have been writing in school and charged them to give out their best to make the Adansi North District proud.

He added that, candidates have a higher chance of continuing their education to the second cycle schools to take advantage of Free SHS policy by the Government and so parents would not have to worry about their financial standing.

The District Education Director, Alhaji Ibrahim Amankwaah implored the candidates to stay calm and concentrate on writing their exams and not to be intimidated by the presence of the police because they are there to ensure their safety and maintain order.

A total number of 1,237 candidates are expected to write the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination in the District made up of 611 males and 626 females.
