Kwabenya Assemblyman sure of retaining seat

The Assembly member for Kwabenya Electoral Area in the Ga East Municipality, Bright Paul Mintah is sure of retaining his seat as the Assembly man for the area for the second term during the upcoming polls slated for December.

He assured that he has done a lot of things within his electoral area, stating that he has personally constructed two bridges at kwabenya Vicgrace School and Ayigbe town respectively which cost him Ghs 7,800 each to fund the project.

Mr. Mintah explained that there was a wooden bridge that was done by the residents that got washed away anytime it rains, making it difficult for students to cross over that bridge to attend school.
He said he took it upon himself to construct both bridges in order to relief residents who ply that bridge the stress of using that route.

He also recounted the support he had from an NGO to construct a mechanized borehole with polytank at Musuku of which he personally funded half of that project.

He stated that the community lack pipe born water and have been complaining to him, adding that he liaised with the chief of Kwabenya through the Ghana water to get stand pipes for them.

The Assembly man Bright Paul Mintah said his regular support and interactions with the community has made the people believe in his good works and that assures him of retaining his seat for the second term.
