Adentan Municipal Assembly Supports Homowo Festival Preparations with Donation

The Adentan Municipal Assembly demonstrated its commitment to cultural preservation and community engagement by presenting a substantial package of goods and financial support to the traditional authorities on August 22, 2025.

This timely donation is intended to aid in the preparations for this year’s Homowo Festival.

The generous package included essential items such as bottled water, palm oil, soft drinks, bags of corn, and boxes of schnapps, along with a significant monetary contribution to facilitate festival arrangements.

At a brief ceremony, Municipal Chief Executive, Christine Ella Esinam Nongo, accompanied by Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Seth Anim Boadi, underscored the profound significance of the Homowo Festival.

"Homowo unites our community, strengthens peace, and drives development," the MCE stated, emphasizing the Assembly's dedication to collaborating with traditional leaders in preserving cultural heritage and fostering community growth.

Nii Adjei Dorblo, speaking on behalf of the assembled chiefs, expressed deep gratitude for the timely assistance.

He noted that the Assembly’s contribution would play a crucial role in enhancing festival preparations and ensuring a successful and vibrant celebration.
