Gomoa District wins Teachers' Day competition

The Gomoa District Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) beat Twifo-Heman-Lower Denkyira 4-3 on penalties to retain the magnificent trophy they won last year.

The competition, which was organized by the Central Regional branch of the GNAT to mark the celebration of this year’s World Teachers Day, was held at the College of Education at Assin Fosu.

It was keenly contested by all the 12 GNAT’s district offices in the region.

The defending champions eliminated Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese, Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam and Awutu-Senya Districts and in their final match with Twifo-Heman Lower Denkyira, it was goalless after the regulation time.
