Tema West re-elects longest serving Assemblyman as PM

Mr Patrick Atitiati Laweh Osanyormor has been re-elected as the Presiding Member (PM) for the Tema West Municipal Assembly.

Mr Osanyormor, who has been the longest- serving Assembly member for the Railways Electoral Area in the Tema Community 5 was unanimously elected by all 16 Assembly Members.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Tema West, Anna Naa Adukwei Addo, in an interview after the elections expressed appreciation to the Assembly Members for the peaceful election and assured of management support to ensure the implementation of developmental projects within the Municipality.

She appealed to Assembly Members to work closely with their unit committee members to stimulate development.

Mr Atitiati, who stood unopposed in his victory speech thanked members for the confidence reposed in him and urged them to embrace the new ideas his office in collaboration with the management of the Assembly will bring on board to ensure development in Tema West.

He also encouraged members to promote and support government developmental initiatives in their areas.
