GUSHEGU: Maintenance works ongoing on two feeder roads

For the purpose of improving the road network to boost transportation in the area, the Gushegu district assembly in collaboration with the Department of feeder Roads is undertaking some road maintenance on at least two different stretches of road in the district.

For the purpose of improving the road network to boost transportation in the area, the Gushegu district assembly in collaboration with the Department of feeder Roads is undertaking some road maintenance on at least two different stretches of road in the district.

They are the Gambila-Kpatili and Gushegu-Nayugu roads which are currently receiving some form of maintenance to enhance the condition of these roads for residents.

Mr Fuseini Alhassan, the District Chief Executive of the assembly, in a latest interview granted to Ghanadistricts.com noted that the assembly was doing everything possible to gradually help fix the road network, especially those that were in a worst condition.

However, the assembly is also facilitating the construction of two dams under the Ghana Social Opportunity Projects (GSOP) for certain local communities in the district.

The dams are being constructed at Saguli and Galwie and meant to assist inhabitants gain access to water for their various activities.
