The 10 seater water closet project is expected to be completed in two months at the cost of GH¢61,257.
Alhaji Issah Antiaye Tetteh, District Chief Executive, said the construction of the three projects which would be done concurrently, is part of the Assembly’s effort to upgrade its infrastructure stock to enhance development.
According to him, the district would see more development in the year, adding that he would ensure that projects were completed within the scheduled time.
He urged residents of the district to support the Assembly to generate more revenue to finance such projects.
Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, Member of Parliament for the area, appealed to residents to exercise patience as all promises made by the governing National Democratic Congress would be fulfilled.
Mr Agbo, who is also the Volta Regional Minister added that portions of the Kpone-Tema Oil Refinery road, which is in deplorable state would be constructed as the contractor had promised to move to site by the end of January.
He said street lights would soon be provided along the Kpone barrier to the Kpone township road.
Nii Tetteh Otu II, Kpone Mantse, thanked the Assembly for the projects and called on residents not to politicise the execution of such development interventions.
He cautioned the people especially market women against reselling of the market cubicles when completed and allocated to them.
