KPONE K: Hebron Assemblyman spearhead clinic project
With an interest of helping to bring healthcare to the doorsteps of residents, Okunor Jonathan, Assemmblyan for Hebron Electoral Area in the Kpone-Katamanso District, has spearheaded a health clinic project situated at Bawaleshie.

With an interest of helping to bring healthcare to the doorsteps of residents, Okunor Jonathan, Assemmblyan for Hebron Electoral Area in the Kpone-Katamanso District, has spearheaded a health clinic project situated at Bawaleshie.
“EU micro projects supported me to start the project but the money was insufficient, and later on the Germans came in to help,” he narrated how he lobbied for the project to be possible.
He recounted the struggles residents pass through in order to access healthcare in other areas adding malaria and snike bites were predominant in the area. He said after the completion of the health project, such cases have reduced as residents now seek healthcare within the electoral area.
Mr. Jonathan Okunor in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com named somed of the towns which are currently enjoying the benefits the health project has brought to the area to include Akweikyegon, Onukpaiabu, and Oyibi.
Mr. Okunor said the centre can now boast of committed nurses and health personnel, comfortable delivery beds, Out-Patient Department (OPD), among others.
