The Chief Executive for the Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Jerry Akwei Thompson has bemoaned the menace of winning of terrazzo chips along the beaches within the municipality.

According to him, the situation poses serious threat to lives and properties of inhabitants living along the coastal areas.

He said despite various warnings to have the situation resolved had proved futile since perpetrators continue to indulge in the act hence calling for a collective collaboration with stakeholders and appropriate authorities to have the situation stopped.

“This is our collective responsibilities and we must be able to identify the perpetrators and deal with them for the benefit of all,” he added.
