KWAEBIBIREM:Water closet toilet for Pramkese

The Kwaebibirem District Assembly in the Eastern Region, has constructed a twelve-seater water closet toilet for the people of Pramkese at a cost of GH41,619 .00.

The Kwaebibirem District Assembly in the Eastern Region, has constructed a twelve-seater water closet toilet for the people of Pramkese at a cost of GH41,619 .00.

At a ceremony to commission the facility, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Emmanuel Reginald Aboagye Osae, commended the people in the community especially the chiefs and elders for their support and co-operation which contributed to the successful completion of the project.
 
He expressed gratitude to the contractors Openya Construction Limited and Azay Enterprise for excellent job done.

The DCE said, it was incumbent on the Assembly and the communities to collaborate to ensure that sanitation facilities like places of convenience are provided, since according to him environmental and sanitation issues are very crucial for the development of every community.

He said insanitary conditions and lack of places of convenience poses a serious health hazards to communities and therefore, urged all landlords in the district to ensure that they build toilet facilities in their houses.

Mr. Osae, explained that the Assembly would soon source for funds to build more of the facilities in needed communities in order to address the challenge in those areas. 
 
The chief of Pramkese, Barima Ofori Frimpong II, expressed gratitude to the Assembly for providing the facility in the community and promised to take good care of the facility.
