The Akwapim South District in the Eastern Region is finalizing preparations for the implementation of the street naming and house numbering exercise.

The assembly on Tuesday held another crucial stakeholders meeting with staff to finalize procedures.

District Chief Executive, Winston Afari Gyan disclosed to Ghanadistricts.com that enough work has already been done towards the actualization of the project. According to him, a committee had been constituted and it has had a number of consultative meetings with external stakeholders especially the traditional authorities.
 
Mr. Gyan said the assembly is well within time to meeting the deadline, adding that the importance of the exercise cannot be overemphasized and when executed will go a long way to assist the assembly in its operations.
