The Chief of Doneuaso, near Ejisu, Nana Okyere Baffour II, has outlined a number of projects to be undertaken to give the community a modern look.

Among the projects to give the community the required face-lift are a palace, estimated to cost GH¢250,000, extension of the drainage system, and construction of classroom blocks for the local schools.

The Chief, who is also the Mmawerehene of the Ejisu Traditional area, told Ashanti File that he had spent GH¢60,000 from his own resources on the palace project.

He said he had reserved 25 plots of land for the school project, aimed at addressing the problem of children travelling long distances to attend school.

He hoped the school project would help reduce the high illiteracy rate in the area.

Nana Okyere Baffour II called for unity among the people to implement the development plan.
