The chiefs and people of Bomfa in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality have launched a GH¢3.5 million Fund to support the face-lift of the community.

It would be used to finance a mechanised water system, electricity extension, construction of teachers and nurses’ accommodation, improvement of the streets and installation of Information Communication Technology (ICT) facilities in the community.

Mr Samuel Owusu, Chairman of the Project Implementation Committee, said these were to be completed within a five-year period.

He urged the people to accept to contribute their quota towards the development of the community.

They would team up with government agencies and other cooperate bodies to carry through the planned activities.

Mr Charles Kyeremateng Donkor, who chaired the ceremony, underlined the need for unity and peace, saying, these are the vital ingredients for progress.
