Chief Executive for Ejisu Juaben Municipality, Mr. Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah-Ponkoh has cut sod for the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Amoam-Achiase in the Ashanti Region.

The projected with budget GH¢104,000.00 and expected to be completed within five (5) months duration when finally completed will help solve the health needs of the people within the community and its surrounding areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Yamoah-Ponkoh revealed the funding of the CHPS was from the World Bank and is projected to bring quality health care to the doorsteps to the people.

Mr. Yamoah-Ponkoh however urged the contractors to do their best see for the timely completeion of the project.

For his part, Nana Kwaku Duah, chief of the town, expressed gratitude to the government and the World Bank for the timely intervention to put up such a project for them.
