In line with the prerogative of the President, another list of new MMDCEs have yet again been released by government which named Bom Kofi Dy-Yaka as the new District Chief Executive for the Labussie Karni district.

Mr. Bom Dy-Yaka was nominated amidst other MMDCEs in a list of 30 new appointments of DCEs released by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) yesterday, 25th August 2013.

It however maintained that the appointments were made in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.

The Lambussie Karni district has for the past four  years been headed by Clement Benin as the DCE for the assembly until July when he was asked to step down by the President in a statement issued by the MLGRD to that effect.
