All 5 mechanized boreholes currently under construction by the Public Utility Regulatory Commission(PURC) in certain localities in the Lambussie karni district are nearing completion.

The Assembly has clearly shown its commitment to accomplish the facilities in the various beneficiary communities before the end of the year.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com to unveil this august project being facilitated at the district, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Clement Benin stated that drilling works have been om such completed,adding that now testing is underway and very soon contractors will start with the mechanization of the borehooles.

The communities benefiting from such facilities include Suke, Samoa, Kpare, Hamile educational ridge,and Billaw respectively. 

Although inhabitants of these communities have in the time past been bedeviled with the hussles of accessing potable water in their localities, it is expected that this move when finally completed for them, will significantly relieve their stress in water issues.
