Access to potable water has been a source of headache to residents
in the Gyidim Mission-Wiamoasi Electoral Area in the Sekyere South District, thereby, creating a lot of discomfort among inhabitants in the area.

It is in line with this, that, the residents are calling on the government as well as other benevolent organizations to come to their aid to construct more boreholes in the area.

The Assemblyman for the area, Bempah Ebenezer in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, observed that due to the bad water situation, residents had to travel long distance before they could access water facilities.

He said the only borehole constructed in the area is also too far from the area leaving residents stranded.

He also added that the area also has limited public places of convenience hence the need to construct more of such facilities for them.

Gyidim Mission-Wiamoasi area is one of the newly created electoral areas in the Sekyere South District in the Ashanti Region.
