SEKYERE A. PLAINS:New school for Bahankra community

For the first in the history of Bahankra, a community in the Sekyere Afram Plains District of the Ashanti Region a  school has been established and is currently providing education to over 300 pupils in the community.

For the first in the history of Bahankra, a community in the Sekyere Afram Plains District of the Ashanti Region a  school has been established and is currently providing education to over 300 pupils in the community.

The school which was established by the District Assembly is part of government campaign to make education accessible to all.

The District Chief Executive Samuel Asiamah told Ghanadistricts.com in an interview that the assembly is eager to provide school facilities to all communities in the district.

Still on education the Chief Executive hinted that the assembly has for the first time organized a successful teachers award ceremony where deserving teachers were awarded for their hard work over the years. He observed that the move has greatly motivated teachers in the performance of the duties in the district.

Samuel Asiamah further stressed the assembly’s commitment towards the completion of all projects started in previous years and plans to construct an office complex for the assembly as well as staff accommodation for workers of the assembly.
