Nii Osabu II has been installed as the New Dzaasetse of Gbawe in the Ga West district in the Greater Accra region.

Nii Osabu, known in private life as Mr. Aflah Cofie , succeeds his grandfather, Nii Osabu I, who died years ago.

At the installation ceremony at Gbawe, a suburb of Accra, Nii Osabu promised to sustain the peace and unity in the area, since that was the bedrock of a successful governance.

He also expressed his readiness to provide the people of Gbawe with land to build clinics, maternity homes and schools if they co-operated with him.

Alhaji Ishmaila Niiboi Armaaboi, an elder of the stool, congratulated Nii Osabu on his successful and peaceful installation.

He also commended him for providing the people of Gbawe with water and electricity when he was the acting Dzaasetse of the town.

Alhaji Armaaboi assured him of his unflinching support to establish an education fund for the town.
