The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashietey, in his address, said most assemblies relied  solely on the District Assembly’s Common Fund for their developmen projects, adding that the delay in the release of the fund affect most projects and their implementation.

He urged the assembly not to depend on the fund but to evolveinnovative ways to generate enough funds to enable them to provide the needed social and economic infrastructure in the municipality.
