Assembly donates to some selected schools

The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Gloria Temma Gambrah, made some donations to some selected schools within the municipality

The MCE, during the presentation, indicated she was optimistic the donations will go a long way in promoting quality education in the various schools. She urged the various heads to ensure good maintenance so as to prolong their lifespan.

The head of Bomso M/A JHS, Ms. Joyce Boateng on behalf of the beneficiary schools was appreciative of the kind gesture and promised to take very good care of them.

She indicated that “pupils were bringing their own tables and chairs from their various homes and sent them back after school hours and that was too stressful. That practice affected tuition and that is why the donation comes as a joy to us”.

In all 650 dual desks, 720 mono desks, 100 tables, and chairs were presented to the heads of the selected schools.

The beneficiary schools were; Deduako M/A JHS, Weweso M/A Primary B, Emena M/A Primary, Boadi M/A Primary, Oforikrom M/A JHS, Oforikrom M/A KG & Primary B, Oforikrom M/A Primary A, Ayeduase R/C Primary, Appiadu R/C, Kokoben M/A, Bomso M/A JHS, and Bomso M/A Primary A.
