WA WEST: Global Evangelical School supported with 100 dual desks

The move, according to the Church is aimed at expanding basic education in the area to cover more children who attained school going age.
The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Laabiir Edward Sabo in his address, expressed his profound gratitude to the church’s leadership and called on others institutions and religious bodies to emulate their gesture.
He appealed to parents to prioritize education of their children by sending them to schools to acquire formal education instead of engaging them in farming activities.
He hinted that plans were far advanced to ensure that the School feeding programme is extended to the community to help increase enrollment.
He noted that the “free SHS”, flagship programme was introduced by the government to help reduce the financial burden on parents whose children are entering into secondary institutions this year.
He thus implored parents to ensure that children who qualifies and receive placement into various senior high school are given the opportunity access secondary education.
On his part, the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Elisu Nuurideen, who received the desk on behalf of the school, expressed thanked the Assembly and the church for their relentless support for the school since its establishment.
