ADANSI N: DCE welcomes first entrants to school

The District Chief Executive of the Adansi North District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Mr Eric Kwaku Kusi yesterday welcomed pupils to school when he joined them to mark “My First Day at School”.

The DCE toured quite a number of schools in the district to have firsthand information and also encourage the new pupils.

 

Some of the schools Mr Kusi visited and interacted with the pupils are Kusa Methodist Primary,  Dompoasi Demonstration  Primary, Asokwa D/A, Bodwesango Islamic  Primary and many more.

 

 

Welcoming the pupils, the DCE tasked them to take all their lessons seriously, pay attention during classes and also complete any assignment given them by their teachers in order to become the doctor, teacher, pilot, nurse, or whatever professional they aspire to become.

 

 

The DCE also urged parents to cut down on excessive spending and invest in the lives of their wards particularly their education since they are the future leaders.

 

Teachers were also advised to handle the kids with care, love and treat all equally.

 

 

Mr Paul Antwi Ampong, the Director of Education accompanied the DCE in touring the schools.

 

Meanwhile BayPort Financial Service supported the event and distributed exercise books, Kaylipo and other confectionery whiles the Assembly also gave out pencils, crayons and many more to entice the kids to feel at home.

 

The DCE Mr.Kusi, used the occasion to visit various Senior High Schools (SHS) in the district to acquint himself with processes of the free senior high school policy that was rolled out across the country.
