Bosomtwe district to benefit from projects under IPEP

The Bosomtwe District Assembly as part of government’s Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) is to benefit from some infrastructure projects the District Chief Executive, Hon. J. K. Asuming (Esq) has hinted.

These projects would include construction of 15 No. 10-seater water closet institutional toilet with mechanized boreholes; and construction of 15 No. limited Solar Powered Mechanized Boreholes.

According to the DCE who announced this during an assembly meeting, the these infrastructure projects are in fulfilment of His Excellency, the President’s commitment to establishing IPEP, and are key interventions of Government, aimed at directing capital expenditure towards Constituency level Infrastructure and economic development priority.

He indicated that the Ministry of Special Development Initiative has already advertised in a Daily Graphic publication for bid in order to award these projects on contract in the various MMDA’s in including the Bosomtwe District.

“I must add that the Assembly is yet to receive official communication and locations of the projects”, he stated.
