DCE commissions sanitation facility in Apinkra, urges proper maintenance

The Bosomtwe District Assembly has commissioned a new 12-seater water closet toilet facility with a mechanized borehole in Apinkra, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing sanitation within the district.

During the commissioning ceremony, District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Abdullah Hamidu emphasized the importance of the facility's effective use in improving sanitation and promoting proper environmental hygiene.

He urged the managers of the facility to cultivate a strong maintenance culture to ensure its long-term functionality.

The event was attended by a delegation including the District Chief Executive, the District Coordinating Director, representatives from Elesam Rock Company (the project's contractor), the Chief and Elders of Apinkra, the Hon. Assembly Member for Apinkra, the Unit Committee Chairman and members, along with staff and community members.
