KWAHU W: MCE cuts sod for 44 lockable stores
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, Mr. Yaw Owusu Addo has cut the sod for the construction of 44 lockable stores at Nkawkaw, the Municipal capital.

He said the completion of the market would also help relocate traders currently selling on the street.
The MCE said the market being funded by the Assembly through its internally generated fund and the Assembly Common Fund would comprise a total of 44 stores, shed, and washrooms among others.
When completed, it would go a long way to improve the living conditions of the people as well as increase the Assembly’s revenue, he said.
The Municipal Engineer, Richard Odjidji, gave the pledge that the market would be completed within four months and called for community support and cooperation to assure the completion of the market on schedule.
The chief of Kwahu Obomeng, Nana Effah Opinaman III, thanked the Assembly for the initiative and the kind gesture showed the community and also plead with the Assembly to get a space for the taxi drivers around the new market to boost revenue in the Municipality.
