The MCE in an exclusive interview with Ghanadistricts.com revealed plans to give a major facelift to the over 50 years Kade Market with the addition of a number of modern structures to meet the current trend of life and provide the needed comfort for traders.

This project which is expected for completion in six months will go alongside the construction another structure of a 2-story, 32-unit stores for the market.

Other structures expected to be built in the market, he noted include a crèche. “We are planning to build a complex crèche facility to make life convenient for the market women especially those with children, as they will have a readily available place close to their place of work to keep their children. There the children will be safe and secured while they also benefit from formal education”, he added.

It is also important to think of the safety of their wares, hence the assembly is to build a large storage facility where traders can keep their wares under very secured environment.
