ABLEKUMA N: MCE supports Eid al-Adha festival
The Ablekuma North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr. Kofi Ofori has presented a cow and an undisclosed amount of money to the Muslim communities in the municipality on behalf of the President as part of this year celebration ofthe Eid al-Adha festival.

Making the presentation Mr. Ofori said it was gratifying to observe the high level of religious tolerance in Ghana and called for it sustenance.
That, he stressed, would promote development, since according to him no country could develop without peace and stability.
He said the New Patriotic Party government under Nana Akufo-Addo was resolute in improving the economy of the country and called for all hands on deck in achieving that.
Madam Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North who was on hand to lend support called for unity in the area to ensure its accelerated development and pledged to co-operate with the MCE who took office a few weeks ago to ensure that the area enjoyed rapid development.
Receiving the donationon behalf of the Muslim communities from Kwashieman, Awoshie, Darkuman andOdorkor Official Town, Sarki Imurana Billa Ango, Kwashieman ZongoChief expressed appreciation to the President and the MCE for their kind gesture andpledged the support of the Muslim community to the MCE and the government to ensure the development of Ablekuma North.
