The event, held at the Macedonia Circuit of the Methodist Church in Kwashieman, brought together a cross-section of stakeholders from the municipality.

Key topics discussed at the meeting included education, healthcare, transportation, and security.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Mr. Kalamu Adamu Musah, underscored the importance of such engagements in identifying the community’s development priorities.

“When we meet with residents like this, they are able to tell us the priority areas they believe the assembly should address urgently,” the MCE noted.

He further explained that the meeting also serves as a platform for the assembly to provide transparency on how internally generated funds are being utilized to benefit the municipality.

Touching on some development efforts, Mr. Musah disclosed that construction will soon begin on two Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds at the Darkuman and Kwashieman markets.

This initiative is aimed at improving access to quality healthcare in the area.
