Although some progress has been made over the years, officials acknowledge that significant challenges remain. Cases of child vulnerability continue to require urgent attention, prompting renewed commitment from the Assembly.

The Social Welfare and Community Development Department is leading the charge, working closely with communities and key stakeholders to raise awareness and promote child rights.

Authorities say the focus will be on education, prevention, and early intervention to ensure that every child in the Municipality grows up in a safe and supportive environment.
