The Municipal Chief Executive Kojo Acquah in an interview with ghanadistricts.com said the intervention is part of his vision to extend potable water to most communities before his tenure in office ends.

The DCE further entreated the beneficiary communities to devise creative means or strategies to keep the taps flowing, advising them to ensure good maintenance culture of the boreholes.

He said plans were advanced to provide all the communities in the Municipal with a potable water facility from the Municipal Development Fund (DDF) especially the communities that depended on the rivers for drinking water.
