The DCE also seized the opportunity to educate them on social distancing wearing of nose mask and further charged them to strictly adherence to all precautionary protocols by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Agyapong said, although the directive making it mandatory for people to wear nose masks to public places is yet to be in full force, the Assembly had started displayed “No Mask, No Entry” notices on doors of its offices.
He warned that people should get their own locally made masks since the assembly cannot provide for everyone.

“The Assembly cannot buy the nose mask for everyone so this exercise is just to educate the public on what is coming and what we need to do to prevent the virus”, he said.

Touching on other plans being put in place, he said the Assembly has mounted roadblocks to screen people entering the District, adding that “we are saying that from Monday, without the nose mask, you’re not allowed entry regardless of your screening. “

It is mandatory that you wear your mask,” added.
