BAF hands over renovated CHPS compound to Ghana Health Service
A renovated Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound has been commissioned for the chiefs and people of Onyemso community in the Kwahu East district.

The facility which was renovated at a cost of thousands of cedis will provide accessible health care to more than 2,000 people in the community and its neighboring environs.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Eric Nyarko, Director of Development at Foundation indicated that, BAF’s commitment to increase access to quality health delivery across the district.
We are hopeful that this facility will change the story earlier told about health care delivery in the Onyemso community.” We urge you to adopt the best maintenance practice to preserve the facility for future generations,” he added.
BAF has also trained community health nurses in midwifery assistance, registered 1000 people unto the National Health Insurance Scheme and conducted school health education and a host of other health projects underway.
The chairman of the occasion, Nana Yaw Owusu Mireku,Weremphene of Onyemso, was full of appreciation to BAF for supporting the community. The chief said they’ve seen the good projects that the organization is doing. “We thank Bryan for his immerse contribution to development in the community and like Oliver Twist – we ask for more”.
The District Director of Ghana Health Service for Kwahu East, Madam. Vida Efua Afful, said, “We hope the provision of this facility will help reduce maternal and infant mortality, provide antenatal and postnatal care services, health education and counseling services.”
She expressed her appreciation to Bryan Acheampong Foundation for responding to the needs of the people and the Ghana Health Service when they approached it for help.
The Bryan Quality Healthcare Initiative has demonstrated its determination to enhance quality health care in the District.The Foundation is established by the Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency as a vehicle to drive home all his projects.
