Sekyere South District commits to improve citizens’ living conditions
Madam Catherine Reckling, District Chief Executive for Sekyere South, has underscored the Assembly's commitment to provide the needed infrastructural facilities to help improve the livelihoods of the people in the area.

She said the Assembly had since the last three years embarked on projects such as the expansion of schools, health facilities, electrification, and the construction of police stations to beef up security among others, across the District to make life worth living for the people.
Addressing journalists at the "meet the press" encounter at Agona, Madam Reckling, said the construction of office accommodation for the decentralized departments of the local Assembly, were ongoing to help improve local governance.
Madam Reckling gave the assurance that the Assembly would do its best to complete all on-going projects such community markets, schools, sanitation and others in the various communities.
On the upcoming District Level Elections and Referendum, she urged the various political parties to show keen interest and campaign massively towards it.
She indicated that the elections and referendum formed the basis of the structure for local governance system, describing it as "a root to Ghana's democracy.
