SEKYERE S: Unemployment would soon be a thing of the past - DCE
The District Chief Executive for the Sekyere South District, Catherine Reckline has stated emphatically that, the level of unemployment would soon minimize since a lot of companies are in the pipeline to get themselves on board with the ‘one district, one factory’ (1D1F) in the district.

She explained that one of the headache of the assembly is how they could create avenue for employment to the jobless inhabitants in the area.
He stressed that, the assembly has decided to throw its weight behind any company that would surface in the district to help boost the local economy.
She brought forth this during interactions with Omono Asamoah during a sod cutting ceremony by the Western Rice Group of Companies Ltd at Agona.
The Chief Executive Officer of Western Dewdew (d33wd3w) Rice Company Ltd, Mr Kwabena Akuoko Amofa also applauded the current government for creating business enabling environment for the entrepreneurs in the country.
He explained that, he applied for a loan facility from the Ghana Commercial Bank and with the intervention of the government he is paying 10% of interest on the loan acquired.
Beside the above,he is importing rice processing equipment from China and the Ministry of Trade and Industry had assured him that he would not incurred any clearing tax including some tax holidays for 5yrs and it's a big relief to the local entrepreneurs.
