Methodist Church commissions oral health school at Ankaase

Mr. Kweku Agyeman Manu, Minister for Health has commended the Methodist Church for its pioneering role in the delivery of quality health care in the country.

The Minister gave this commendation at the inauguration of the Methodist Oral Health School Complex at Ankaase Methodist Hospital in Afigya kwabre South District.

The three million Ghana Cedis States of the art facility was constructed by the Methodist Church with support from its partners such as the Rotary Club Bielefeld-Waldhof, Germany, Rotary Club International and Rotary Club Kumasi East.


Mr. Agyeman Manu added that the Methodist Church had shown leadership and called on the management of the hospital to engage stakeholders in modernizing the infrastructure at the facility under Agenda 111 initiative.

Dr. Yeboah, Executive Director of Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) also said access to Oral Health Care is essential to the promotion of the general health of the people.


Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr. Adu-Poku Christian DCE of the area, Chief of Dominase, Nana Boffour Yaw Boateng, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most Rev. Dr Paul K. Boafo, Right Rev, Michael 'A' Bossman, Administrative Bishop, and CEO of Ankaase Methodist Hospital among others.
