N GONJA: DCE hands over office, accommodation spaces to state institutions
The North Gonja District has seen remarkable growth both administratively and Social/Physical development since 2017 under the guidance of a servant Adam Eliasu Red Bawa.

In the last five (5) years, not only has development reached every corner of the District, but has seen the extension and establishment of offices meant for state/ public institutions to render services and further enrich the decentralization goals.
The District Chief Executive, Adam Eliasu handed on January 14, 2022 handed over office spaces, and accommodation to some institutions in the district.
The institutions include; The District Health Insurance Scheme, District Agriculture Department, the Rural Enterprise Agency and the Ghana Police Service.
GHANA POLICE SERVICE;
A two-bedroom accommodation and ancillary facilities has been completed, furnished and handed over to the police service in the District to be used by the Police Commander.
This brings finality to the formal upgrading of the Daboya Police Post to a District Police Station Status.
THE RURAL ENTERPRISE AGENCY
The rural enterprise agency, formally known as the National Board for Small Scale Enterprise is part of the Ghana Government's efforts to reduce poverty and improve living conditions in the rural areas.
The development objective is to increase the number of Rural Medium and Small Enterprises that generate profit, growth and employment opportunities.
Adam Eliasu handed over a state of the art office space for the REP to facilitate the delivery of their mandate in the District.
THE AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT
The North Gonja District is well endowed with rich arable lands, and so the major economic activities include farming, cattle rearing and trading.
Till now, the District Agric office used to perch in a temporary building but today has also been handed a permanent one to help deal with challenges facing the sector in the District.
THE DISTRICT HEALTH INSURANCE;
Residents of the District have relied on Damongo Municipal, Tolon District and Tamale Metro for health insurance services. Hon Adam Eliasu's efforts at bringing relief to his have finally paid off as full time and permanent operations will start soon by rendering the services of health insurance for the people to access health care.
The equally good news is that, the Contractor for the Daboya District Hospital has reported to site as part of the Government's agenda 111 blueprint for the health sector.
It is expected that these will help push services in the District a notch higher and better.
