Dep Roads Minister visits North Gonja district

The Deputy Minister for Roads & Highways, Mr Stephen Pambin Jalula has paid a working visit to the North Gonja District as part of his Savannah Regional tour.

The purpose of the visit was to supervise and interact with contractors working on some major projects in the District including the Daboya-Mankaragu-Mempeasem road, Daboya / White Volta Bridge.

After courtesy calls at the Wasipe Traditional Palace, the team undertook the inspection exercise by plying the road under construction from Daboya to Nabengu.

The team also made a stop at the banks of the Daboya River where ground preparations are underway to receive the contractor billed to work on the Daboya Bridge.

Mr Jalula also revealed that a 5km Daboya township road project has been handed to the urban roads department to do proper drainage systems and construction to curb floods in the community.

He assured the people that their Member of Parliament is working hard to bring more development to the Constituency and asked for the people's support and cooperation.
