Vote “Yes” in December Referendum - MP
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kade Constituency, Mr Ohemeng Kwabena Tinyase has challenged Ghanaians to come out and massively vote “YES” in the upcoming national referendum which is scheduled to happen alongside the District Level Elections.

According to him, the national referendum scheduled for December 17 is to allow Ghanaians vote for the amendment of the constitutional provision which disallows political parties from participating in active District Level Elections.
The MP made this call when he speaking at a meet-the-press organised by the Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly to propagate the government flagship programmes, initiatives and achievements so far.
In his keynote address, Mr Tinyase urged Ghanaians not to see the election as partisan but one that needs our collective effort since it was aimed at giving power to the people.
Speaking at same event, Mr Seth Antwi Boasiako, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, in power point presentation outlined the Assembly’s achievements in Kade and its surrounding communities three years after wrestling power from the erstwhile NDC administration.
The projects include roads, Ghana First Projects, One District One Factory, Disability Fund, Disability Fund, School Feeding programme, Rural Electrification Projects and Government Scholarship among others.
He said the government has done more to better the lives of the people and thus called for votes for the NPP come December 2020 to continue its good works.
Meanwhile, a twelve-member election committee to assist the National Commission for Civic Education to help in creating awareness about the election.
The committee members were sworn in by the Magistrate of the Districts court, Her Ladyship Felicia Anane- Antwi.
